Recognition of Prior Experience

Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (FNS40804)

Nationally Accredited Qualification for Existing Mortgage Brokers

Program Details:

This Recognition of Prior Experience program is designed for people who have been working as a Professional Mortgage Broker for more than 2 years.

This recognition program aligns the brokers industry experience and prior education with the competencies required for the FNS40804 Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance / Mortgage Broking) which is now the Australia wide accredited qualification for mortgage broking.

We understand that a majority of existing mortgage / finance broker's already have the required knowledge and skills to achieve Certificate IV recognition.

 

Our program also recognises that these brokers are time poor  and unable to take time out from their business to attend a course. In response we have developed the Recognition of Prior (Learning) Experience Certificate process.

 

3 Step Process:

  1. Print the Checklist of Competencies and have it verified by a Peer or Supervisor
    • Independent Business Owners can have their competencies approved by Aggregation Groups or Other Brokers
  2. Provide a CV/Resume showing a minimum of 2 years experience within the industry.
    • Specifically within the Mortgage Broking Industry
    • Include all education that has previously been undertake and achieved
  3. Submit a Case Study example of your work
    • One Loan application submitted and approved within the last two year
    • Supporting documents are NOT required (e.g. ID, COS, Payslips and Statements)
    • File Notes are required (e.g. Tracking sheets, Correspondence with Lender and Follow up with Client)
    • Please REMOVE your clients name, personal details and loan amounts from all documentation.

The cost of the program is $475. Payment can be made through our Online Enrolment Portal prior to submission, alternatively Credit Card details or a Cheque may be submitted with the application.
